Otani’s close adviser, Gosuke Yuasa was good at handling spears. When Yoshitsugu committed suicide, Gosuke served
as his suicide assistant. Yoshitsugu ordered Gosuke Yuasa to hide his decapitated head, because Yoshitsugu’s face was twisted by leprosy and he was ashamed of it. Gosuke Yuasa buried the head of Yoshitsugu in the mountain, but Niemon Todo saw this. Gosuke offered his own head to Niemon to protect Yoshitsugu’s head. |
